Yes. Don't faint from the shock.
After the total lack of updates in the past...errm, few months, I shall attempt to make it up to Anita and Ah Sim by posting lots of photos in this post. They say a picture speaks a thousand words. So, the more photos there are, the less I have to blog. (Hmmm, that sounds like something Ash would say...haha).
Anyway. I'll start with all the birthday celebrations we've had since coming back to London...
First up was Jenny's birthday - we had dinner at Belgos (a very satisfying one, might I add!), washed down by their fruit beers (which actually taste nice, nothing like normal beer).
(I edited these photos a long time ago, so I didn't really photoshop them to make the collages like some you'll see later...Sorry Jeni!)

Then, came
Yong's birthday. His 21st!! Ashamedly, we didn't throw him a huge bash - we just had dinner at this Vietnamese restaurant opposite Wong Kei, and then came back to our place to drink/play cards. But hey, we had fun! (Where we got a very nice "quote of the day" - the 'co(r)(c)k one - from yours truly...haha).
I took more videos than photos, so I'm only going to post a photoshopped version of the birthday boy.

Then came
Jeff's birthday. We had dinner at Garfunkels (after standing in the cold for ages, trying to decide where to eat), and then, went back to our place - again. Yong and Wen Yen went home after a while, but Quah stayed to play bridge with the three residents of 79 Ridgmount Gardens. :) Of course, Quah had his reasons....hahahaha.
Again, I didn't take many photos - I was totally knackered that night...I think I was functioning on 2 hours of sleep. Ohh, but I baked Jeff a brownie/cake thingy. It turned our alright, but it could have been better. Practice makes perfect, so I'll just bake more in the future!

And, just last week -
Wen Yen's birthday. We had dinner at Gourmet Burger Kitchen - the burgers there are HUUGE. The milkshakes were yummy as well.
In contrast to the other 3 birthday celebrations, I went a bit mad with the photo taking, and took a LOT of random photos. (Thinking back, it was probably coz I was celebrating the start of intermodule week).

We then went back to Wen Yen's place to hang out for a bit, and to say hi to Winston and Quah who couldn't make it. After that, we went back to our place (again!! Do you see a pattern here?) for another night of bridge, tai ti, and blackjack. And alcohol, of course. We can't keep away from alcohol when Jeff is around.

And, lastly - as a subtle reminder of our wonderful "gag" birthday gift to wwy:

Hahaha, sorry, Wen Yen. I couldn't resist. :)
Moving on from the birthdays...
Li Kun came to visit a few weeks ago, I can't recall when exactly. Once again, we took millions of photos (as always)...It was great to meet up with her though, as I haven't seen her since the reunion. Nice to catch up and talk in person, rather than on the phone - plus, it conserves the battery life of our phones. Haha.

And finally,
Notts Games, which was barely a week ago. I had the best time, and met loads of people! Pei Lian, Gai D, and even Mina - I didn't even know she was in UK! Also managed to meet Ying Xin, of all people!! My darling fellow Queensguide whom I haven't seen since the award ceremony. Finally, I had someone to back me up on the "Guides are NOT geeks!" issue. My only regret is that us ex-cbm girls didn't get a photo together...coz Pei Lian and Gai both decided to go to town, instead of staying to watch the basketball and netball!! :( Sighh.
Also met up with tons of Concordians, naturally. :)

Not forgetting our netball team. We had the best time ever - with the motto "nothing to lose" and "we're here to have fun" in mind all along. Plus, we didn't get trashed, apart from that match against KMS. I must say that some teams played "dirty" though, hmmph. I LOVE the Manchester team (Mimi's team!). They never foul you, and play a very clean game. All of us agreed that that was the best match we played.
It was hard getting a team together, very hard indeed - but I think it was worth the trouble in the end. We're all crazy. Hahaha.

And last, but not least, a wallpaper I made of our team. This wasn't done with my blog in mind, but more for fun. But - I love it so much. :) So, I'm going to post it here - though it might be a little small...oh well.
And yes, I'm spending TOO much time photoshopping my infinite collection of photos. I'm staying away from photoshop for a while now. I have to! I have SO much work to do.
We just started our Neuro module on Monday, and we have done the anatomy of the skull/cranial cavity/meniges, the eye, and the ear in THREE days. And I'm SO behind on reading.
