the past week has been less than enjoyable. even when i'm taking a "break", i still feel bad afterwards when i think of the time i wasted. not that that stops me from taking a lot of time out though. i find that i can only work hard for one day....and this will be followed up by at least a day of less work. oh well. i can't expect to work 24/7.
it's scary though. i get the impression some people are more than ready for the finals...errm tuan for one is definitely super ready. i seriously envy people who can be so prepared for exams. cindy would be another example of this rare, conscientious and hardworking "breed" of students. and i don't mean it in a bad way. =)
the weather has been improving lately - it's relatively warmer. the only problem is that it makes our rooms really warm - maybe more of stuffy. i now have to keep my curtains open, in addition to my fully open window to get maximal "circulation of air". arggh i hate it when it's stuffy!! which is why i now hope for rain...it makes my room a lot cooler. on the other hand, the weather is perfect for outdoorsy stuff. going back to what someone said...finals should be in the winter, when it's dark and cold - where you can't actually go out and have a blast. and we can have the warm summer nights for fun stuff - NOT studying our asses off for exams we aren't prepared for. sigh.
haha, i complain a lot. but whatever.
i can't believe i've only been back for a week though. it feels like i've been back for ages. speaking of home...not having access to a tv is not keeping me from being up to date on the reality shows i watched when i went home: american idol and amazing race. =) thankfully, amazing race ends next tuesday - one less distraction. the best thing about ai? i found a site to do direct downloads of the episodes. =)
