i had to leave home really early to make my 6.55am flight...and when i was on my way to kl, i realised that my boarding pass stated that my flight time was 11.30 am, which wasn't correct. my flight was sheduled to depart at 9am. i panicked, thinking they forgot to change my flight booking, as i was originally booked for the 12pm flight.
as it turns out, my flight was delayed for 2.5 hours. very nice of the guy (who checked me in) to inform me. i'm truly thankful to the lady who told me that our flight was delayed - or i would have been in a state of utter panic throughout the flight. after realising what was going on, i became really pissed off. it was one thing to have my flight delayed, but what made me even more annoyed was the fact that the check-in guy didn't inform me of the change. granted, he may not have realised the change in time (or so my neighbour said - she works with MAS as well)...but still. especially since other passengers were informed. as the lady (who told me about the delay) said, "very nice of them to inform you about it".
so, i had a very "nice" time in starbucks...i think i sat there for about 3 hours. THREE HOURS. had to deliberately drink my frappucino verrrry verrry slooooowly to make it last. bah. thank god they opened a starbucks in KLIA!! otherwise...i have no idea where i would go. burger king? no way. but i did manage to do some anatomy...but still. i tried connecting to the internet with my palm, but couldn't figure out how to confugure the settings. then again, i'm not sure if my palm has wireless access. haha. i should really explore the possiblities of my plam sometime this century. ;) and it goes without saying that i was complaining to everyone who was actually awake at that time of the morning.
managed to watch oceans 12 (brad pitt is so nice to look at! =) and julia roberts & catherine zeta-jones are really nice to watch as well), a series of unfortunate events (was that the title of the film?) and ELR on the plane.
and the funniest part about coming back to london...as my taxi approached schafer, i saw people filing out of the building - coupled with a sound which sounded a lot like the fire alarm. and true enough, it was the fire alarm. i was thinking to myself, oh yeah, this is schafer. the good thing is that ashleigh saw me standing with my bags from across the road, and later helped me with my bags. =)
yesterday was hellish, with all the panicking and frantic revising for the MCQ this morning. for the millionth time, i told myself that i must study for the next test...which will be coming up next friday afternoon. followed by the finals a week later. shit shit SHIT SHIIIIIIIIIT. i need to stop wasting time and really do work! i did do some work over easter, but i didn't even manage to revise any of the other modules (so i brought all my notes back for nothing).
but it was wonderful being at home, and it sucks having to leave the comfort and joy of home to the crappy exam stress of london. i miss home already! i think it was worse leaving this time, as i knew i would have to face utter hell when i got back. only 4 weeks left. i need to be focussed and stop wasting time on photoblogs and reality shows (have i ever mentioned that amazing race and american idol is very addictive?).
and i should get down to some work now...after my 4 hour nap this evening.
