it is SO freaking HOT. i want to collapse and faint. bah. but despite the heat, i am glad to be home. =) it would just be that little bit better if it would be a little less humid, and a little more windy. it feels weird though...in london i'll be going "it's so bloody cold...where the hell is the sun?", and here i am now, complaining about the sun. haha.
i can't believe i have to go back next saturday. arghhh. and i'm still waaaaay behind on revision. i get distracted so easily - without the distraction of msn, might i add. if i added the distraction of msn to astro, sleeping and eating, i would be so dead.
but speaking of astro, i watched oprah earlier - her "wildest dreams" season. and it reminded me why i love oprah so. she basically made 3 dreams come true, but i think the best had to be the one with this bernadette - she brought her 9 kids (3 of her own, 6 were here neices and nephews) for a toys r' us shopping spree - they were really pressed for money, and had never entertained the possibility of even buying anything from toys r' us. it was basically 20 minutes to get anything they wanted. anything. it was amazing seeing the kids...they were so happy. and later, oprah shocked the "mum" by telling her she would be having new furniture in her place, along with the services of this professional interior designer. and the final bombshell: that she would be getting a new house, which she would get to choose with oprah's favourite real estate agent. it was just so nice to see how overjoyed the mum was - she was crying all the way. and when she wasn't crying, she was just jumping around like a crazy person: especially when oprah surprised her at her workpace. her kids were also crying-even on the show itself! very touching.
i swear, i would kill to watch her show live.
and there's the amazing race. i love that show. =) i must say, i don't hate rob so much on amazing race. i thought he was an absoloute ass in survivor. it's probably the editing. it would be nice if uchenna and joyce win. they remind me of chip and kim! or even better, if the "old" couple, meredith and gretchen (which parents would name their son meredith??) could win. for once, the old people prevailing..would be interesting. ;)
i also watched les miserables the other day (yes, more time spent without books). made me want to watch the musical again. =)
i think i should get down to some biochemistry now...sigh.
ramz:so touched. =) but there wouldn't be pictures if i didn't take "yonks". when did you start using that term anyway? oh. make sure you reread those books! we didn't bring them there for nothing! you have, what? 2 weeks left?
ermm and to those of you who are waiting for emails...this is just a test of patience. ;) it's good. in a way.
