2 days to chinese new year...
or more worryingly, 1 day to my anatomy viva. and 2 weeks to my c&b assesment.
we had our resheduled tutorial with prof jordan today...during which we were made to feel like complete dumbasses who hardly knew anything about the cardiovascular system. which, to be honest, was the case. =) but still! as andy said, he looked like he expected all of us to fail our assesment. he actually asked...errm, and when is your assesment again?
shiiiiit. it's definitely time to get down to some SERIOUS studying. i've done some anatomy, and reviewed some respiration lectures. perhaps i should have done some work on the cardiovascular system instead. i hate it when i'm at a loss as to what is going on. oh well. all the more reason to work hard for the next 14 days.
let the countdown to 5pm on 21st february begin...i canNOT wait for intermodule week.
on the bright side, the fire alarm has remained silent since last week! amazing. but the person responsible still hasn't been caught...so i'm just hoping he/she doesn't decide to start the nightmare again, especially not during finals.
but, the alarm has unfortunately messed up my sleeping times. although mary says my sleeping times are finally normal. haha. i actually woke up before 9am during the weekend!! i'm usually amazed if i manage to wake up before 2pm during weekends...and there i was, waking up in the morning! wow. i just hope i get over this phase soon. i love my old sleeping habits!! =)
oh yes. the oh-so-elusive d500. went to phones4u to sign a contract - as yong finally had a current bank statement. and of course, we just HAD to run into another brick wall. which was the stupid credit check. i failed the credit check for all networks, as did jeff and yong. which is weird, seeing as my friends in ucl halls have had no problems signing contracts. yong: i think we need to go to the individual phone shops...my friend said she signed it with the voda shop. maybe? since you want a line so desperately?? sighh. this is becoming a pain. and i've only been there twice. i can't imagine what it must be like for yong, who has been there....eight times, i think it was. "where there's a will, there is a way" i just found out that ken is going back to china to celebrate chinese new year. ahhh..the unfairness of it all! =( missing out on the celebrations each year sucks, especially since this is going to be the situation for the next...well- many more years. and hui yin: thanks SO much for rubbing that in. just wait till you reach your clinical years...you'll be complaining with me then. which is of course, what we do best. haha. by the way, i actually have some kuih kapit here with me. =)
