and i HAVE to mention this..simpy because it has never ever happened before. i was EARLY. haha. when i got to tottenham court road, jose, karina and quah weren't there yet. and there jose was, considering telling me that we were meeting at 9pm (when it was actually 10pm) to make sure i wouldn't be late. have a little faith, people...it's the new IMPROVED me. =)
anyway, i went into the mcd's toilet to avoid waiting for the three of them in the cold london winds. this was when i got a surprise...i walked past a group of asians (whom i guessed were malaysians going to opium as well) on my way to the toilet. and when i was in the toilet, i got a phone call. from suan. and she asked me ther weirdest question..."where are you now? are you in a mcd's toilet?"...yes. i have finally met suan after about....errm...5 years. she was like..how could you just walk past me without saying hi?? oops. but i really couldn't recognise her. she looks quite different with her long hair. =)
and when we got to opium...we ran into di-ehhhh-na and soph. met this girl from penang, lip sin...who knew yeevonne, justin, hwei wuen and suan. it really is such a small, small world! selina, james, jon (aHEM - for a certain someone , you know who you are, haha), wee yow and apparently ding's sister was there too. i was just beginning to think i would never meet anyone from ucl last night, when i saw deena, keas and hsiang. coz i think it's a bit sad if you don't meet anyone from your uni at a london event. =)
we left at about 2am...though mum and dad were like...don't leave too late ok. oh well.
but i definitely had a fun time....thank you to jose for the treat!! =) and to karina as well who sent me home...thanks a million!
and speaking of the new improved me....i actually woke up for my 9am lecture today!! so there, people. but i skipped my other lecture, haha. but i wasn't sleeping then (though i was planning to)...coz we went to the thomas lewis room to talk to ding and thai ying, who had interviews this morning. and i have been earlier than jeff for the past few days. =)
