it is really really COLD these days...the wind is just unbearable sometimes... especially in the "schafer wind tunnel". the wind can literally stop you in your tracks, and you can practically feel yourself starting to turn into an icicle. brrrrrrrrrrrrr. verrrrrry cold. and i'm still waiting for some snow. i mean, if i'm going to have to suffer the cold, it would be nice to actually see some snow. just for the fun of it. =)
there have been like, a million birthday's in the past 5 days or so. friday was ding's birthday, sunday was li kun's and jasmin's birthdays, yesterday was angela's birthday, and....today is anita's birthday. and my sister's birthday is coming up in a couple of days. it's the birthday season, i think. =) oohhh, and before i forget. anita!!! why did you call me a slut? or was that ramz??? anyway, i'm sure both of you would have had a fun time in the historic city...as long as you didn't visit jack d'club again. =) and happy 20th birthday, dear!!!
went to this japanese restaurant called "gili gulu"(or something along those lines) for dinner with winston, adeline, amie and pui-san. we had the £13.95 all you can eat buffet. it was quite an expensive price per head...so what did we do? the typical asian-kiam siap thing, of course. eat all you want? hell yeah, we ate all we wanted. haha. 52 plates from the sushi bar, 2 bowls of noodles and one bowl of miso soup. needless to say, i was EXPLODING by the time we got to the end of dinner. my stomach actually felt a bit weird..the after effects of stuffing yourself to the brim. but as amie said, at least we stuffed ourselves with japanese food....=)
adeline is here till tomorrow afternoon...she's leaving after her interview. she seems really relaxed though...we've already watched "the incredibles" and "house of flying daggers"...i still love elastigirl, regardless of her so-called fat ass. =) we also cooked dinner. well, maybe not cooked exactly...coz ale bought stuff from chinatown, and we "kind of" cooked them. haha. =)
oohhh..and i put up some of my chinese new year decorations today!! it looks so chinese-y now! but i've yet to put up the decorations on my front door, as i figure the other four will think i'm insane putting them up this early. i'll wait till this weekend.
oh the weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful and since we've no place to go let it snow! let it snow! let it snow!
