how come so many people are born in january?? =) there are so many presents to buy, so many trips to the post office...haha. but it's fun celebrating the birthdays though...
met the london concordians (minus a few) and cin at royal china for dim sum. jeff and i were late...and everyone started blaming ME the moment we sat down!!! even though i valiantly defended myself and said that it wasn't just me. coz i did end up waiting for jeff downstairs. see???? and when we switched lines at oxford circus, we absent mindedly took the wrong tube, in the wrong direction. the best thing was, we DIDN'T EVEN REALISE that we were heading in the opposite direction. how bad is that? thankfully i looked to see how many stops we had to queensway..and i realised that we were already FIVE stops away from oxford circus. in the wrong direction. sighhh. and of course, the others totally didn't believe me when i told them that story...apparently they said i should just stick to running in, panting, and apologising profusely for being late. i also told them that i actually waited for jeff today...and no one believed me. quah was like..yeahh RIGHT. that is going to far. haha. i'm not that inaginative at that time of the day ok? =) it's typical, the one time i actually wait for someone, no one believes me. but the food was good. yumm.
i also managed to do some shopping today!! and i have come to the conclusion that i should never be let loose on oxford street when there are sales going on. haha. but i didn't buy lots of stuff though...only a jacket and a top. and some cards and presents. i originally went out in search of boots and a black coat...but they didn't have the boots in my size, and the coat i've been eyeing since last year isn't on sale. oh well.
and miss josephine kongoasa...you OWE me one, ok? *grins*
